Wild winds swept through the Las Vegas valley this weekend, creating hazardous driving conditions for daily commuters and commercial truckers alike. Drivers have been forced to quickly adapt to fierce, sudden gusts topping out at over 35 mph, accompanied by relentless sustained winds of 25-30 mph.
The severe weather, which kicked off on Sunday afternoon, isn’t letting up just yet. Local officials have issued a high wind warning that is expected to remain in effect through 5 a.m. Monday morning.
