What would you think if you saw a truck operating without a driver? Sounds unreal, but it’s something you’ll see more often by the end of 2024.

Aurora Innovation leads the development of autonomous freight trucks, currently transporting goods between Dallas and Houston, as well as Fort Worth and El Paso. According to Jake Martin, a spokesperson for Aurora Innovation, many people in Texas, including small businesses and consumers, have already received packages delivered by their autonomous trucks.

While the trucks currently have vehicle operators in the front seat, Aurora plans to make them fully driver-less by the end of next year.
